Martin Dooley

I am a Professor of Economics and a Research Associate of the Canadian International Labour Network. My recent undergraduate teaching includes Introductory Economics, the Economics of Labour Market Issues and an Honours Seminar on the Economics of the Family. My recent graduate teaching includes Labour Economics and The Economics of Social Policy (in the Masters of Social Welfare Policy program). My general research interests are labour economics and the economics of the family. My current research projects include the socioeconomic determinants of child health and development, social assistance (welfare) use and marital stability. Funding for my research is provided by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and the National Health Research Development Program.
